Car industry charged the Mercedez-Benz brand to help children at risk while Richmond group chose IWC Schaffhausen for charity work. Both luxury brands have united their efforts with Laureus organization that fights against social inequality in the world.

They work in several directions and the most important among them is sport. Namely Laureus Fund 'Sports for the greater good' gets from IWC annual financial help - $ 500 000 and huge informational support.

The Fund and IWC's collaboration is not occasional. One of the greatest Swiss watch companies has a huge experience in sports watch production. Many world known sportsmen prefer highly technological IWC production.

Though IWC has always been known for its charity actions, the first company's experience in social project support was the assistance to the legendary underwater explorer Jacques-Yves Cousteau.

The collaboration with the Fund “Sports for the greater good” has been very fruitful. The company has recently presented several watch novelties in a Moscow boutique that are not on sale yet. All of them are worth special attention of watch collectors and just expensive timepieces connoisseurs.

The most important charity lot is a watch from limited edition series Pilot's Watch Chrono-Automatic Edition Laureus Sport for Good Foundation. There are 2500 pieces produced. The watch is special due to the refined blue color of matte dial and a strap made of crocodile leather.

An interesting detail - there is a drawing painted by a children contest winner engraved on the timepiece. The contest was held all around the world among children who participated in Laureus projects. An 8 years old girl from Uruguay won with her drawing called Basketball.

In addition, its buyers will get as a gift a unique book 'Let the Children Play'. This is a beautiful book that tells about hard work with children at risk.
