New Hublot Big Bang to Honor St. Tropez Polo Club

In the beginning of the summer season the Hublot Company is establishing a St. Tropez branch that is to become the second exclusive store of the brand in France, following the opening of the Paris branch in the Rue Saint Honore three months ago. The Nyon workshop, located inside the Byblos hotel, has stopped its choice at a prime setting right in the heart of St. Tropez old town.

The prominent Swiss brand decided to commemorate its presence in the harbor attracting the cream of society in a really special way: having already built close links with the Monaco Yacht Club and Wally Yacht, this time the company has established a new prestigious partnership with the St. Tropez Polo Club.

To mark the occasion, Hublot is releasing a new exclusive model of its iconic Big Bang in limited edition of 250 pieces. The timepiece features the 'Polo Club Saint-Tropez' logo. The company has presented the model at the gala dinner that took place on 7th July, clashing with the eve of the first polo competition finals in the season - the International Polo Cup.

The new Hublot Big Bang has become the first timepiece in the collection to be available with two interchangeable straps. One of the straps represents an exclusive fusion of alligator skin and rubber. The steel case measuring 44.5 mm in diameter sports a white ceramic bezel and the matching white dial featuring a hint of azure blue at 9 o'clock position in the form of the 'Polo Club Saint-Tropez' logo.

The watch's designers have opted for the color of the bezel not by accident - it corresponds to the white color that has earned St. Tropez Polo Club its worldwide reputation. The bezel is fixed to the case with help of 6 titanium H-shaped screws. The watch's sapphire crystal is provided with anti-reflection treatment. Its lug disc and lateral inserts are produced from white resin. The steel case back of the model reveals 'Polo Club Saint-Tropez' engraving.

The crown of the timepiece as well as rectangular-shaped push-pieces are equipped with white rubber inserts. The timepiece boasts 100-meter water-resistance. The matt white dial features steel applied indexes in vertical satin finish. The brand's logo is found at 12 o'clock. The hands of the Big Bang are faceted, sand-blasted and rhodium-plated with luminescent feature. As for the chronograph hand it has an H-shaped counterpoise. The date function is presented through a trapezoid aperture positioned at 4.30.

The Hublot Big Bang 'Polo Club Saint-Tropez is driven by mechanical chronograph movement with automatic winding - Hublot caliber HUB44 developed in cooperation with La Joux-Perret. The timepiece offers 42-hour power reserve.
