Audemars Piguet Joins Efforts with Clinton Foundation

Swiss luxury watchmaker Audemars Piguet has partnered with the Clinton Foundation. The brand has developed the 'Clinton Foundation Equation of Time' watch, introduced during a media event organized at the Four Seasons Hotel in Manhattan. Audemars Piguet will give a significant part of profits received from the watch-sale to the Clinton Foundation, together with a 3 million dollars donation.

The unique watch has been developed in platinum, 18-karat rose gold and 18-karat white gold version. The platinum edition was presented with a small architectural model of the White House. The timepiece features a variety of functions:
- sunrise and sunset times,
- a perpetual calendar with astronomical moon,
- 'The White House' as a location on the graduated ring of the timepiece,
- President Clinton's Seal engraved on the case back.

The Clinton Foundation Equation of Time watch will be produced in a strictly limited edition of 42 pieces, as a clear hint at former President William J. Clinton, who was the 42nd American president.

The Clinton Foundation works to strengthen people's capacity in the USA and throughout the world to take up the challenges of global interdependence. The foundation concentrates its attention on some of the most important issues of today, including the environment preservation, providing aid to HIV/AIDS patients and fighting childhood obesity. The former president appreciates the partnership with Audemars Piguet and the contribution of the brand will support the foundation in reaching its global goals.

The Audemars Piguet Company has long been involved in philanthropy work, having created the Audemars Piguet Foundation to support forest conservation as a part of environmental protection and raising awareness of the problem among young generation. Clinton also mentioned that the goals of his foundation are in line with the brand's values, and he especially appreciated their work aimed at forest conservation.
